Zaire S. Ali serves as an incumbent member of the North Brunswick Township Board of Education, where he champions academic excellence, equity, and student success. Beyond his work on the school board, Zaire is an appointed member of both the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and the Municipal Alliance Committee, where he helps strengthen community programs and partnerships. Dedicated to service beyond his official roles, he also volunteers with special needs youth at Middlesex County 4-H, reflecting his deep commitment to inclusion and opportunity for all members of the community. With experience, compassion, and a clear vision, Zaire continues to be a trusted advocate for North Brunswick’s families, students, and neighborhoods.
Great public schools make our whole community stronger. When we invest in our schools, students are better prepared for life after high school, families stay in the area, and people get more involved, volunteering, supporting local events, and building lasting connections. Strong schools lead to stronger neighborhoods, a better local economy, and more opportunities for everyone.
When schools team up with local organizations, students gain access to safe after-school spaces, caring mentors, and early support, preventing problems from escalating. As a school board member, I’ll work to grow these partnerships so every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.
Students today are under a lot of pressure. State testing, homework, sports, civic duties, and social stress. School-based mental health programs can give them the support they need to handle challenges, stay focused, and build a better future.
The school board should keep families and the community informed and involved. I’ll push for clear updates on board decisions, easier ways for families to give feedback, and more open communication between the board and the people we serve.
The school board must make sure all families, no matter the language they speak, income, age, ability, religion, or background, have equal access to resources, information, and support. I’ll work to remove barriers so every student and family feels welcome, included, and valued in our schools.
As a school board member, I’ll make sure our schools use every dollar wisely. That means keeping taxes down while protecting the high-quality programs and services our students and families count on. I’ll push for smart budgeting, transparent spending, and investments that put students first, not waste or politics.
